I am just like you. I work full time and have more than enough to keep me
busy when I am at home. I never had the time to just take off and have a
day at the spa. To be honest with you I cannot count the number of
times that I did not even have the few minutes it would take to "cleanse" my face
outside of regular soap and water. I am also an instant gratification
person. I want to see results right away, I do not want to wait months to
see a difference.
After a very hectic month at work my best friend saw that I was in need of some
relaxation and rejuvenation so she set me up for a spa treatment. I have
to admit that there were some things that I knew that I should be doing that day
other than getting pampered but I also knew that I needed some "me" time.
If I didn't get some "me" time I knew it was just a matter of time before I
would be burnt out. So, I headed out the door with no idea what was in
store for me that day.
We arrived at my best friend's aunt's house and I saw various BeautiControl
products laid out. I had tried other products in the past but they either
just didn't feel right, were too complicated, didn't really work or I didn't
like the scent of the product. I really think that a lot of it was that
mindset was beauty is about make-up. Little did I know that make-up will
only look as good as the skin it is on. Think of an artist they can be
very talented but if the canvas is not in the best shape the end result will not
show the artist's best work. I figured I had nothing to lose and kept an
open mind about these products.
The first thing we did was a facial cleansing. I was pretty impressed on
how soft my face felt after just one cleansing and more than that, I was so
impressed at how easy it was. It didn't have to complicated like I had
thought due to past experiences.
Next came the "Instant Manicure". The product felt gritty but it smelt
terrific. When I rinsed off the product the results were instant! My
hands were soft and felt wonderful. I work with paper products at work and
my hands are always dry and rough feeling. This product made such a
difference and again the results were visible immediately. The icing on
this cake though is the "Hand Creme". Soft hands that stay
soft even through 3 hand washings.
Okay now it was time for the lips. I was instructed to put this white
cream on my lips and was told it was a facial for my lips I have to admit
that I was a little hesitant in doing this, but since I loved the products that
I had tried already I went for it. I was instructed to let it dry and when
it was dry to gently rub my finger over my lips and then use a damp cloth to
remove the remained of the cream. I then put on the lip balm and
again INSTANT results. My lips felt smoother and softer. Not just for the
moment but for 3 DAYS! I noticed after just one treatment that my lipstick
went on better and lasted longer.
We then went into the living room and "relaxed" with " eye pads"
over our eyes and warm washcloths that had been presoaked in "a Detoxifying Bath Soak" draped over our faces. I felt all the stress and
tension leave my body. I honestly cannot remember the last time I had felt
so relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated.
It was during the relaxation time that I realized that I deserve some time to
pamper myself and that I can have the spa experience in the comfort of my own
home any time I want at just a fraction of the cost.
I was so impressed with the products that I had tried that I knew that I had to
share them with my family and friends. I immediately signed up to be
an Independent Consultant.
Life can be hectic and it is wonderful to be able to HELP teach women and men
who work hard and play hard take some time for themselves and "escape".
For the Beauty that is skin deep!
